Christmas is waiting to be born...

As we head into the drive to Christmas Eve we're starting to get some local buzz on the call to stand up against religious bigotry, for immigrants of all nationalities and faiths, and a broad inter-faith presence for solidarity and justice.. Today's local paper, The Berkshire Eagle, ran my op-ed piece. Check it out @ http://www.berkshireeagle.com/columnists/ci_29285665/rev-dr-james-lumsden-stand-up-others-les

On Christmas Eve we will host an Inter-Faith Candle-lighting liturgy for Peace and Solidarity at both our 7 and 11 pm gatherings. And some of my friends and colleagues are joining me for an inter-faith event we'll start planning for early in the New Year. There is broad and deep support for taking a public stand despite 40% of our county supporting the bile and bigotry Trump is peddling.
